This dogleg right par four is the most challenging hole on the course?from tee to green. All in all...for $10/player I would travel back here no doubt. The green features numerous undulations, with the right side guarded by one large bunker. Two large bunkers guard the corner of the dogleg, but a long hitter can try and carry the bunkers leaving a shorter approach. It was like the rough at other courses. Trees frame-in the green behind and on the left, and a pond guards the majority of the right side of the hole. The approach shot is to an elevated two-tiered green that slopes from right to left. The tee boxes have minimal grass left, leaving it just to be dirt and some left over patches of grass. The second shot plays to an elevated green that falls away on both sides and in the front. Each Hole Has Its Own Challenge. The player also faces a difficult two-tiered green that slopes heavily from back to front. Course is in good condition AND there is a casino only about 5 miles away. The greens were long (about a 7 on the Stimpmeter). The fairways are like an average back yard. Front nine is wide open and hilly. Pine trees situated close to the green guard the right side. The course was in average condition but could use more attention to detail and manicuring. He was pretty rude! The sand traps were a total mess and not a rake in sight on the entire course. Not many golfers at the course. Some greens even have sand and dirt all over it. Probably will not be back for this reason alone. Staff was friendly and the food/beer was cheap. Don’t let the length of this hole fool you. The Front 9. The greens are normally fast and can be quite treacherous at times. The more aggressive play is to try and carry the fairway bunker and possibly reach the green, but trees to the right of the green and a pond and bunker to the left threaten to punish any offline tee shot. We can easily accommodate 36 teams for any outing and have indoor banquette space available. But I couldn't see being happy paying paying more than $20 for 18 and a cart at this course. A right side pin position is particularly difficult because the player is forced to carry a very deep pot bunker and stop the ball on a very shallow green. A great way to spend the day. The final hole is a picturesque medium length doleg to the right. Green fees are very affordable and suit any budget. Maybe because of the counter staff. Pin position plays a key role, because the green features numerous distinct levels, sloping severely from back to front. Back nine was great! The ninth hole is one of the most challenging and interesting holes on the course. Front nine was pretty flat and ordinary but the back nine was much better. A small bunker is also located behind the left side of the green. They are also pretty thin (not much grass between the ball and the dirt). Three bunkers guard both sides of the green on this particularly difficult hole. It is a decent course for the money. A very picturesque Hole, number ten is heavily lined on both sides by tall dense stands of pines. We were very disappointed a felt disrespected by the man working the counter.
